I am Colin, a lawyer against King John. I believe that he should be punished for his actions, as they go against the Magna Carta that he signed. He’d rather hire mercenaries than pay his loyal knights, which is an outrage! I hope that the jury can see our side of the story and punish King John for his cruel deeds. For the trial, I plan to dress similar to a lawyer.
I am Haley, lawyer against King John. I believe that he should be punished for his actions of going against the Magna Carta which clearly states that he must follow the laws. He sent the knights to foreign lands (France) to fight in a war that would not even benefit England, it would benefit King John. I hope that the Jury can see how King John does not care of anyone but himself, and how he is nothing like his brother because his brother was for the people not against them. For the trial I plan on dressing in what a lawyer would wear.
I am Gilda, a lawyer against King John. King John is a liar and a man who has thoroughly violated rule #60 of The Magna Carta. King John has overtaxed citizens, and bribed the church into his favor! I expect to see all of the learned men and women state that King John is guilty of all charges. I plan on wearing a skirt and blazer with a briefcase for the trial.
